Cynthia  Coulter

Cynthia Coulter began painting as a child with much inspiration from her grandmother, an accomplished fine artist.  Cynthia  received a BFA degree from Rutgers University and and an  MFA from West Virginia University in printmaking.   Painting  in acrylics, watercolors and mixed media,  inspiration from her work comes from everyday influences, especially the beauty and grandeur of nature.

Cynthia has had many years of experience as a designer in the wallcovering  field  and will often incorporate  decorative patterns in her collage paintings.     Her work has  been published in a broad range of fine art prints for the art decor market,  and her paintings have also appeared on home decor accessories, kitchen textiles and other related products.

Cynthia resides in Ocean County, New Jersey.  Her studio overlooks the woods of the Pine Barrens and flower gardens where there is an array of nature inspired subjects for her paintings.
